Today, our Reception class conducted an exciting experiment to discover which objects float and sink! 🚢
After reading the book “Who Sank the Boat?” by Pamela Allen, the children made predictions about which materials would float or sink in water. 📖
Using aluminum foil, paper, and plasticine, they crafted their own boats and observed the results. As a follow-up experiment, they asked, “How many marbles can be placed inside without the boat sinking?” 🧪
The aluminum boat was the winner, holding a grand total of 16 marbles! 🏆⚓
