On a gorgeous early September day, Duke of Edinburgh candidates Marc, Adam, Liam, Diego and Adria were taken to the Cingles del Bertí. Guide Stepan and our geography teacher, Scott went with them.
The candidates experienced the challenges of teamwork, navigation and packing supplies. All of them had a quality time learning the ropes and enjoying their adventure. They set a pace that allowed for good route decisions, the importance of their aims and cooking and tent building.
Anyway, they need to focus on what they’ve learned from the trip, so they can apply it to the Duke of Edinburgh qualifying journey next week.
A memorable time was had by all of them!
