As the Global Learning Festival concludes, we are proud to share the achievements of our students.
- 227 schools, across the world and 5,087 Key Stage 3 students competed in maths, English, languages, and sciences activities.
- A total of 1,855,195 questions were answered by the participants.
- 42 students at The International School of Catalunya were the only representative for Spain.
This is the first time we participated and definitely not our last!
In the world scoreboard, ISCAT ranked 37th. There were 100 schools in the small size school category, and here, we rank 7th. This is a stunning achievement for a first timer school. In this category we achieved 2nd place in science, 11th place in English and 14th place in Maths.
We are particularly proud of our Year 8 students who have led the school with the most questions answered correctly. Out of 5,087 students around the world, Guillermo ranks 137th and received a Emerald Award. We are extremely lucky to have him. We need to also mention Pablo and Sandro
from the same class who are the top of the school. Max from Year 7 did extremely well and completed an impressive range of questions.
Thank you to all those who participated, in school and at home. We would like to especially thank the Year 10 students who supported the Key Stage 3 competitors with some of these activities. We are delighted by the positive attitude, skills, knowledge, and competitive spirit that our students
demonstrated. We look forward to the next round of competitions from the Global Learning Festival!
