Last year ISCAT achieved the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award, making us the only school in Spain to achieve this award!
The award celebrates the commitment of students, staff and families to the values inherent in the Rights Respecting Schools Program.
As we welcomed a new school year we prioritised class charters and each class drew up its own class charter with 3/4 articles for special attention as well as the class actions to help achieve these articles. Class elections were held to elect the new class representatives who will form the new steering committee in both primary and secondary school.
The outgoing committee were thanked for their tremendous work and presented with certificates before handing over to the new committee.
In primary school our new members Tony, Camille, Vera, Leo and Idoia reminded their class of their new class charter before getting busy with their first task, creating a rota for our new badminton equipment for use on our brand new astro turf playground!
