On Thursday 10th May, Year 4 went to ´Miquel Crusafont Institute of Palaeontology´ in Sabadell. The children learned how fossils were formed and even had the opportunity to look at some dinosaur fossils, guessing which part of the dinosaur the fossil came from. They really enjoyed this activity and were eager to share their knowledge with the guide.
The children were lucky enough to see an actual Palaeontologist working very carefully with some fossils. They were fascinated at how delicately the Palaeontologist was handling the fossils and the equipment she was using. A great opportunity!
It was a wonderful trip and the children had lots of fun, whilst learning more about fossils.
