In Year 2, our mathematicians are building a solid foundation in number and place value! Using special maths blocks, they are learning to visually group tens and count individual ones to understand how numbers are composed.

✏️ Through this hands-on exploration, they are developing the crucial skills of exchanging ten ones for one ten, comparing amounts, and solving problems. This concrete experience makes abstract number concepts clear and memorable, setting them up for confidence in all future maths learning!
