Today we received a visit from Sònia RodrĂguez Sánchez, a paediatric nurse from CAP La Garriga 👩‍⚕️, who also currently offers open consultation sessions for our Secondary and A Level students at school.
She led several workshops throughout the day, including a First Aid session with our Year 7 students. During the workshop, students learned what to do in an emergency, including how to perform CPR, help someone who is choking, and assist a person who has fainted.
Using CPR dummies and practical demonstrations, students had the opportunity to practise important life-saving skills, ask questions, and share their thoughts and experiences in a supportive and engaging environment.
A huge thank you to Sònia for sharing her time, knowledge, and expertise with our students! 💙
