Year 7 are building their own model castles as part of a unit on power and control.
They have studied the different features and reasons for building castles. They have looked at the sieges castles had to face, the weapons they used to break into a castle and the defensive features that developed to protect castles from attacks.
They are now applying what they have learned into developing their own models.
