Our Year 10 participants have started their intensive period of training in preparation for their Assessed Adventurous Journey, the fourth component of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
Guided by an UMLA Qualified Mountain Guide and supported by Duke of Edinburgh Team, the group have made a great start to their training and have already experienced the sense of adventure and accomplishment when navigating through unknown territory.
Our students are now preparing their AJ Aims, and deciding which delicious meals to cook whilst out in the wild next week for their practise journey. They will be carrying everything that they will need to survive for two days and one night!
They are certainly showing the determination needed to ensure that their teams complete this challenge. Super work!
