This term in Year 7 art they have been producing clay coral sculptures. Following on from this they researched about the damage that plastic is having on our oceans and marine life. They are now aiming to find out how we can minimize our own use of plastic and look for more sustainable options.
To support their understanding a talk was hosted for the Year 7 group with Eulàlia, founder of El Rebost La Garriga.
The talk gave students the opportunity to ask questions and to find out about what they can do locally to reduce the use of plastic. It was really interesting!
