Last week, our Year 6 students took learning to the streets, discovering the works of famous modernist architect Manuel Raspall, just around the corner from school.

They located the school and four stunning houses – Casa Barraquer, La Bombonera, Torre Iris, and Casa Barbey – on a map, then went outside to study every unique architectural detail up close.

Inspired, they sketched their favourite elements, which will later be transformed into a vibrant trencadís-style mosaic, bringing modernist art to life in the classroom.

Hands-on, creative, and full of discovery – learning you can see, touch, and feel! ✏️✨
