Our Year 7 students have been studying the particle model and exploring how matter changes state 🔬
They carried out a hands-on experiment to find the freezing point of stearic acid, carefully measuring the temperature as it cooled from a liquid into a solid. 🌡️
By tracking the drop in temperature, students were able to see first-hand how particles behave as substances change state – bringing their classroom learning to life in the lab.
