🚂✨ Year 1 have been exploring their topic on trains and transport!
They met the “Father of the Railway,” George Stephenson, who was born in the North East of England – very close to where their teacher Michelle used to live. There is even a George Stephenson museum near her house! 🏛️
They learned about the train he invented and discovered how trains have changed over time. By studying the differences, they put the trains in order from oldest to newest and were very keen to guess what might come in the future 🚆💭
So much curiosity and brilliant thinking from these young learners! 🌟📚
