Today we had a very special visitor at school… 🚀🔋
Our youngest learners in Early Years and Year 1 had a fantastic visit from Apilo the Alien, who came all the way from the Planet Recycling to teach us about the importance of recycling used batteries. ♻️
Through a fun and interactive talk, the children learned that batteries contain chemicals and materials that can harm the environment if they are not recycled properly. By collecting and recycling them, we help protect our planet and give these materials a new life. 🌍
The session was engaging, educational and full of excitement – our students loved meeting Apilo and discovering how they can become little “recycling agents”! ☺️
