⚔️🧵 As part of their Viking topic, our Key Stage 2 students designed and made their own homemade bags, practising the art of sewing just like Viking craftspeople may have done.

Through this hands-on activity, pupils explored everyday life in Viking times while developing creativity, patience, and fine motor skills.

📚 Topic-based learning helps bring history to life by allowing children to connect practical skills with their classroom learning. Craft activities like sewing also encourage resilience, focus, and problem-solving in a fun and meaningful way.✨
